Save China’s Tigers, One of First Recipients of Green Dragon Environmental Awards
Save China’s Tigers founder, Li Quan was in Hong Kong on May 27, 2008 to be one of the first recipients of Bowen Capital Management’s Green Dragon Fund Environmental Awards.

Bowen Capital Management managing director and Green Dragon Fund manager Jeremy Higgs said: The Award to Save China’s Tigers was in recognition of the charity’s dedicated efforts and achievements to conserve and protect the critically endangered South China tiger. Li Quan thanked the Fund managers and said SCT was proud to be one of the first recipients of the Award and said the US$50,000 will be a significant contribution to the charities successful breeding and rewilding programme and the tigers’ eventual return to protected wilderness reserves in China.
Bowen Capital Management is a Hong Kong-based investment advisor, investing in high-quality Asian growth companies and also managing accounts for individuals and institutions. Its Green Dragon Fund was launched in October 2006 as one of the first regional hedge funds to focus on Asian environmental growth and addressing environmental needs in Asia and a portion the Fund’s management fees is donated to outstanding environmental NGO’s selected by the firms selection board. The fund has realised a 36% growth since its inception. The fund may also invest in carbon credits as well as derivatives of the carbon emissions trading systems.
