Week 291 (20th Mar - 26th Mar 2009)
Laohu Valley takes a break
Aside from another couple of successful but unfortunately un-witnessed hunting attempts by Hulooo and his brothers we had a very uneventful week, but King Henry did at least break the monotony.
King Henry had been watching his mother bathing in the water trough for many, many months and this morning, tired of playing in muddy puddles, King Henry also wanted to experience the good life. He first placed a front paw on the edge and then tried to lift his back leg over the side of the trough whilst standing parallel to it, no matter how he stretched it just wasn’t enough….. so he turned around (perhaps it might work better that way) This time he didn’t worry about placing his front paw first, he just stretched his back leg out and was feeling around for the edge which he couldn’t even reach, never mind step over. He first tried the other long side then both of the short sides with absolutely no success. He then left shaking his head and wondering how come it always looked so easy when his mother did it
