Cathay gets bored and King Henry shows his mother how to hunt

TigerWoods shocked himself on the trip wire and fled in one direction and Cathay sped off in another, and somehow their respective flights ended at the same general location. TigerWoods ran over to Cathay for sympathy and comfort but she reared up on her hind legs and clawed the air inches from his face.

She had enough of TigerWoods and demanded to be let out; I unlocked the gate for Cathay and 327 ambled closer to be greeted with profuse chuffing and head rubbing. He expressed his joy in much the same way. Cathay had a drink of water and 327 soft-footed around her, sniffing under her tail and pulling funny faces. Cathay wandered around a little and discovered 327’s pantry - she carefully climbed in and raided it. Whilst she was eating his leftovers 327 stood around and watched her eat and then sprayed the entrance to the box before going in to see what she had left. He answered one of Cathay’s chuffs from inside and it reverberated hollowly.

On Friday just after dusk, King Henry caught sight of two antelope, and he began his stalk. He gradually drew closer and at the last moment charged in for the kill!!!!! The animal tried to escape but he cut it off and immediately went for its throat. It struggled to its feet a couple of times but each time he dragged it down and eventually held it for ten minutes. Madonna had in the mean time arrived and stalked the other animal from behind a bush. She was far less successful in her charge than King Henry and he joined in the chase to show her how it gets done; leaving his prey behind. He and Madonna chased the antelope back towards the 0.5ha camp and Princess joined in. Both the cubs played with the animal whilst Madonna egged them on. During Monday night Madonna and/or King Henry killed an ostrich but none of them would touch it.
